Light a Candle

PictureDear Friends,

Thank you for taking the time to look at our website. I want to invite you to call us if you have any questions about the services we offer.

The decision to build a pet crematory took a sadly ironic twist during the February of this year. We had initially decided to look into building a pet crematory after the death of Miranda, quite a few years ago. After Miranda's death, an opportunity was dropped into our laps to rescue two kittens. One of the kittens had lost an eye - but they were both beautiful to us. We named them Mercedes and Phoebe. Those kittens grabbed hold of our hearts and never let go.

At the beginning of the year we noticed that Mercedes' behavior had started changing. We immediately took her to our local veterinarian. We soon discovered that Mercedes had a genetic illness that caused her liver to malfunction. Our vet worked with us, but in the end, poor Mercedes body gave out.

PictureOur crematory was being built, but it wouldn't be operable for several months. So, we took Mercedes to a pet crematory that was within 40 minutes of our home. Although the people were very nice, the facility broke our hearts. The crematory stood in the back of a warehouse surrounded by old machinery and car parts. The floor was stained with oil and the container that we had to place our dear Mercedes in was old and tarnished. Catherine looked at me through tear-filled eyes and I knew exactly what she was thinking - we had to make sure that the people who brought their dear pets to us, never felt the way we were feeling at that moment. And never would have to endure this kind of experience.

That's our promise to you. We understand the love you have for your pets. We understand the heartbreak associated with losing your pet. And we promise to treat your dear pet with dignity and compassion.

As I mentioned earlier, if you have any questions, please feel free to call us. We would love to help you.

Sincerely,

Steve and Catherine Turner
